One work order shouldn't have five different versions of the truth.
kitwheel keeps your CMMS, FSM, GIS, and ERP systems synchronized in real time, so no technician enters the same work order twice, and no two systems disagree about where it stands.
Get early accessSame work order. Two platforms. One status.
FM data integration is broken. Everyone knows it.
Every facilities platform wants to be your system of record. None of them wants to talk to the others. So the actual integration layer of this industry is a person with two monitors, retyping work orders from one portal into another.
If you're a service provider, you live in your clients' systems, not your own: five portals, five logins, five places a status can go stale. If you're a multi-site operator, switching platforms means abandoning years of history, so you don't switch, and your vendor knows it.
Even when systems technically integrate, the data doesn't mean the same thing on both sides. One platform's "Completed" is another's "Pending Invoice." Every tenant has its own trade codes, its own priority scheme, its own dialect. Mapping that is the real work, and today it's done in spreadsheets, memory, and tribal knowledge.
We're building kitwheel to be the hub in the middle: it speaks each platform's dialect, translates statuses and vocabularies both ways, and keeps every connected system telling the same story about the same work order. Not another system of record. The layer every other system has to agree with once it's running.
Where kitwheel becomes load-bearing
Service providers & contractors
You dispatch and invoice in your own system, but your clients live in theirs. Once kitwheel is pushing your updates into every client portal and pulling their work orders into your queue, your techs never touch a second system again, and neither does your invoicing. Pull it out, and you're back to five portals and a spreadsheet.
Multi-site operators
Your locations, vendors, and history are scattered across whatever platforms each region or acquisition brought with it. kitwheel becomes the one place all of it agrees, which means the day you consider ripping it out is the day you're back to reconciling five regional systems by hand.
FM software & ops teams
You've been asked to "just integrate" two systems with incompatible status models and per-tenant field customizations. kitwheel becomes the translation layer other teams build against: vocabulary mapping, dialect handling, retries, a full audit trail, so the brittle point-to-point script you'd otherwise be babysitting never gets written in the first place.
